Free reading to celebrate the new book by Nicole Georges, Invincible Summer Anthology v. 2. Clutch McBastard is supporting her with his first performance ever in this latest installment of the Zinesters Talking reading series. In the U.S. Bankroom at Central Library.
Clutch McBastard is a long-time Portland zine maker, cartoonist, editor and librarian. For several years, he has created the comic zine Clutch, tracing the day-to-day life of an average man and his richly humorous cast of friends and co-workers. http://tugboatpress.com/
Nicole J. Georges has been self publishing for over thirteen years, and spent eight years teaching adults, children and seniors the magic of this artform. Her autobiographical comic zine Invincible Summer, has been released as a two volume anthology through Microcosm Publishing and Tugboat Press.
